The company started out in 2006 as a trading house for commodities namely- fertilizers, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and ferrous scrap for supply to the steel and metal industry and OEM manufacturers for the auto industry in India and Southeast Asia. Over the last 5 years we have diversified across verticals such as Defence, cyber technologies, EV/Renewables, consulting for overseas OEMs for their India strategy.
From predominantly being commodity trading company, we have incorporated separate companies to work in Defence, cybersecurity and other allied technologies. Nomistar Resources, still focuses on commodity trading and consulting.
In the Defence and Technology vertical, Nomistar has developed a list of international OEM partners, with cutting edge technologies. Our objective is to undertake R&D, develop and manufacture these products and technologies in India under a TOT/JV structure. All our projects are aimed specifically under the Make in India-I and Make in India-II and IDEX schemes of the Ministry of Defence, under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat framework to further the vision of our Honourable Prime Minister and Government of India.
Our OEM partners for defence, aerospace and other new technologies are some of the leading global names from the USA, Bulgaria, Israel, Serbia, Norway and Turkiye.
